Short description
“LEGO” have designed a tool for management, team building, and problem solving known as LEGO Serious Play and the idea is very simple. The concept is that we, as human beings, learn through using our hands.
Educational value/ Learning Objectives
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® began as an experiential process designed for use in guided workshops with adults to prompt dialogue and encourage reflection, as well as develop problem-solving skills and use of imagination. However, SERIOUS PLAY® sets like the Starter Kit are also suitable for building critical thinking skills in kids 6+. Each set is designed to enhance different skills, such as reflection and dialogue, which will enhance the workshop experience. This innovative approach to interaction is a valuable asset in business as well as education and helps participants open up through the approachable medium of play.
Recommendations for use

- A unique fact is also that each participant is asked to put his / her contribution in the spotlight. This comes from one of the principles of LEGO SERIOUS PLAY, namely that every stakeholder can contribute to the solution.
- Based on the use of seven unique LEGO SERIOUS PLAY techniques, questions of an individual, a group or the company itself, will get closer to a solution, combined with a unique experience is and surprising result.
